//INACTIVITY

The board's been silent lately. Well, perhaps not completely silent--the Cartographer yet continues his work, the Songbird's faith in herself is wavering, and the Fallen Queen has issued a warning to the Lost Knight and his Damsel. That last has the Spectator concerned, in all honesty.

The Spectator will dispose of too much jargon and crypticisms this post. The game's rules are odd, but the Spectator isn't bound by them during the intermission. Call it filler, if you'd like, but the Spectator would like to indulge herself and talk of something to take her mind off the game. Constant vigil has the unfortunate side effect of leaving one deeply depressed.

The Spectator has spoken with the Lost Knight, our conversation can be found on his blog. It may be of help, it may not--much was said and little revealed, unfortunately. Perhaps she'll get in touch with the Knight of a dead tongue, and enjoy a coffee with the one who held the Wayward Knight's heart--and yet may. The Spectator, if nothing else, would like to get to know the pieces this game, rather than file them as yet more statistics, lost to the Black King's war machine.

  1. There hasn't really been any really major crazy since the Solstice apart from what happened to Jean. I'm getting a little nervous, especially since we've seen neither hide or hair from Slendy and his band of merry mooks over the past few days. I'm trying to get Chester out of his Non Action Guy rut in the meantime.

  2. The Next Gen of bloggers have had shit hit the fans recently. Shits starting up for them, and pawns are being added to the table.

But things do seem to have quieted down.

  3. Next Gen? Wow, really? We're old models. n_n You hear that, Chester? We're OLD.

(...Well, we both first came across Where's-his-face in October and you started blogging in November...)

I was joking. The number of bloggers does seem to be increasing fairly steadily if the gradually increasing size of the list at Unforum is any indictation...

  4. Genevieve, I'd recommend denying him anything but peanut butter sandwiches and water until he shapes up.

Slice, that's disconcerting to say the least. Hopefully the board won't become too busy. I remember November, I ended up throwing an entire notebook full of half-done observations away out of pure frustration.

  5. Hey, I'm doing my best! I've been running everywhere and I'm getting better at sparring (I threw Vieve halfway across the room earlier this week) but I am hardly Instant Badass Just Add Training From Hell material.

  6. You should make Chester train with Cheska and I, Vivi.

She makes me get up at six and run, going along to see if I do it of course.

She knows how Proxies fight, considering she was one for nine years.

And she can kick my ass anytime of the week. Unless I catch her by surprise of course.

Her training regiment isn't that tough.

Of course, it also involves eating nothing but rice, fish, and protein shakes for a few weeks.

But it's totally worth it in the long run.

  7. Chester, the problem seems to be someone misread the label. It's instant badass, just add *water*.

  8. I stay in shape by jogging EVERYWHERE. I only use my car for really long journeys. Chester's actually in pretty good shape, he's just unco-ordinated. xD

  9. Fortunately, it seems for every blog that starts, two stop posting regularly, and no one knows what happened.

@Chester and Vivi: When I said Next gen, I mean the post solstice batch of newish blogs. The Generations are too confusing at this point, I think. Im referring guys like Darby, Stormecho, Anonymous, etc etc.

  10. I wouldn't call that fortunate for anyone but those of us keeping track of it all.

  11. I certainly hope things are calming down, as I've found it hard to keep track of everything over the past few months. It's frustrating, trying to put everything into some sort of order.

  12. Christ, Jeff. Rice and protein shakes I can understand but how can you eat fish and not get overloaded by the flavour?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Flounder's rather tasteless, to me, anyway. Perhaps that's what he's eating?

    Or maybe Jeff's a masochist ;)

  14. Hey, I may have started the blog in December, but that's only cause I found out other people had the same problem as I did.

It's been going on way longer for me then I've been posting, I just figured people would think I was crazy.

But I will agree, there was a period of insanity, but things have calmed down for me, recently. Other then things I've been employing myself.

Other then Storm being in trouble, we believe, that's about all that's been major recently.

  15. Thage, there is a subject that may be of interest to you. "History repeating itself".

There has to be another way of dealing with this.

The answers I want aren't those of say, "how to fight", but more "how to think". Because I don't think that's a lesson that has been given yet...

  16. Follow the map, dear Knight, we've much to discuss.

  17. Haha, batshit crazy, aren't you? But thinky. I daresay I'll have to read through this a few more times to figure out what the hell you're saying.

  18. Quite sane, actually, there's just certain limitations I need to abide by.
